Southern Caribbean cruises travel to islands lying east and south of St. Maarten/St. Martin are is the least known part of the Caribbean, but not for lack of beauty or excitement. The islands in the Southern Caribbean are a bit more exotic than Western Caribbean cruises and Eastern Caribbean cruises. The islands in the Southern Caribbean have a stronger colonial influence; some islands are still territories of the U.K, France and Holland.
