List of Ships
Seabourn markets its ships as "The Yachts of Seabourn" and the ultra-luxury ships do in fact feel like private yachts -- or, more aptly, private clubs.
Seabourn Cruises feature a yacht like experience while sailing in ultimate comfort and elegance. Three vessels, the Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend, each one carrying just 208 privileged guests to the most desirable destinations.
The three sister ships are nearly identical, and all create an intimate environment where wealthy passengers can unwind with their peers.
Seabourn has ordered two 32,000-ton, 450-passenger vessels to be delivered in 2009 and 2010, and will cost $250 million each. The ships will be designed by Bjron Storbraaten -- of Silversea alum -- and built at Genoa's T. Mariotti S.p.A. shipyard. Both ships will be "green ships," meaning they will be using wastewater treatment technology.
Seabourn is generally regarded by the traveling public and the travel industry as the most celebrated cruise line in the world, having consistently received top awards, ratings and honors in travel and cruise guidebooks and other authoritative publications.
Onboard Activities and Amenities
All cabins are suites, and they are well equipped with designer soaps, and all the latest and greatest amenities (flat-screen televisions with DVD players, Bose Wave sound systems, and so forth). A complimentary bottle of champagne greets you in your cabin. Bar drinks are complimentary and refilled promptly. Dinner service, with complimentary wine, is as fine as at the grand European hotels. With an abundance of public space and few fellow passengers, you may feel you have the vessel to yourself. The suites all feature modern sleek interiors, large walk-in closets and many suites also have balconies. All of the Seabourn ships feature a complete health spa and state of the art gym with treadmills, Stairmasters and free weights. In addition, each of the ships has an outdoor pool and whirlpool, a beauty salon, an elegant continental casino and a fully functional business center.
